Teachers, Classes and Books - Oh My!

My teachers are all guys. My classes are all over the place. My books.... well I don't have any because I cannot afford anything. I'd so rather have a nice $200 chandelier rather than some $200 book on the history of light. 

The history of light? Yes. That's a thing. And yes, it's a book I'm supposed to be buying for my lighting class. (Yes, I'm taking a class on lighting. No, not interior lighting - though I could use a book on how to hang a chandelier from a 20ft ceiling.)  Seriously, the history of light? Like, what is that? Genesis chapter one? 

Anyways, life has been extremely overwhelming due to installing wood flooring and balancing an internship on top of 18 credits hours of school. GAH.
